My name is Christi Anna and our family has had the great privilege of living in southern Italy for the past few years, and we’ve explored as much as our time and budget have allowed. I believe (and research supports) that family travel contributes to building strong, healthy families by increasing family cohesiveness. This website is dedicated to building strong families through travel.

I’m glad you’re here.
A few things to know before you start reading my site:
- Many of our trips have been education-focused, with lots of adventure in between (we have 3 teenage boys).
- I don’t know anything about luxury travel. I’ve always traveled on a budget, so the places I recommend will not be bougie and the routes to get there will not always be the quickest. (ie. Metro is always cheaper than taxi, but it usually takes a little longer.)
- I only recommend places I have actually been.
- I will always tell you how I got there (parking pin, metro, and when the taxi is worth it!). We have lived here with a large, American vehicle, so we have driven to most places we have been. However, we have used ferry, taxi, Uber, metro, tram, funiculare, train, plane (sometimes cheaper than train!), bus and even tuk-tuk to get to where we need to go!
