Finding a place to cool off in the southern Italian summer is always a challenge. Beaches are often crowded, especially on the weekends. Tucked in the mountains of the Campania region is a fun little water park full of shaded trees and plenty of seating. The cost (as of this writing) is 12 Euro/person for the entire day for adults and kids. Parking is simple, in the grass, and costs a few Euro extra. It is permissible to bring in a picnic and snacks, but there is also a bar with simple pasta, caffe, and ice cream bars.

I only have a few photos from the water park. The last time I went, I sat in the shade and read all day while the kids played. If you’d like to see a few more photos, check out their website!

What my kids liked: Honestly, they had a blast at the waterpark with friends, but they had the most fun paying money to the punching bag machine and competing with friends for the highest score. Also, no swim caps required!! (I recommend a swim shirts, as some of the slides are fast enough to cause a skin burn on the arms or shoulder blades!)
What mom liked: Bringing in our own food! And the park was small enough that I had no issues with my guys wondering around on their own.
Where to park: On site. (Bring cash – usually 3-5 Euro)
On the way home, why not stop at the famed Pepe In Grani for some artisan, award-winning pizza? Featured on Netflix’s Chef’s Table show and set in a beautiful town with breathtaking views, enjoy a truly delicious pizza experience. While the tasting room provides an evening to remember with views directly below to the pizza oven through a glass floor, it is also possible to grab an unpretentious meal on the ground floor. It is recommended that you make reservations ahead online, which is simple to do
What my kids liked: The deconstructed Pizza Margherita
Where to park: While there is a parking garage nearby, I have always been able to park along the street and enjoyed walking through the tiny streets to the restaurant. Be aware that the central part of the town is a ZTL, so you need to park before the ZTL begins!
